After-care services

Just like the dealerships’ finance department works out a schedule, their maintenance department will organize a schedule for car maintenance – regular oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotation and replacement, among others. Some used car dealerships will issue reminder calls, mailings or e-mails to ensure you are up-to-date on your maintenance needs. Is there a guarantee?

While many used cars in Calgary have already gone through the life of their initial warranties, the car’s new owners can purchase an extended warranty on parts and service – some for up to four years or a certain mileage. Of course, regular wear and tear items like brakes, tires and belts are not included, items like the air conditioning system, transmission and chassis system are covered.
